Chill Inducing "First Burn" is the Cover You Need to See Today

One of my favorite “Hamildrops” was the first draft of “Burn” known as “First Burn”. It’s a haunting rendition that’s much different from the finished product we ended up getting in the show.

Virginia Vass has posted a cover of her performing the song along with Annelise Cepero and Kiani Nelson on her Youtube channel. It’s fantastic. Here it is.

“Hamilton” is now available to stream on Disney+. The blockbuster musical tells the story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton and other historical figures, but with a modern spin. Non-white actors play most of the roles, and the musical score is a mixture of hip-hop, R&B, jazz and traditional showtunes
