Looking at Twilight Theater Company's Fantastic Web Series - "Overcoming the Artist's Nightmare"

Sadly COVID-19 shut down many theatre companies across the country. In Portland, OR, the Twilight Theater Company had to shut their season down temporarily, postponing shows such as “A Feminine Ending” and their next production of “Hay Fever”.

But they were able to produce quite an interesting web series titled, “Overcoming the Artist’s Nightmare”.

The series is described as an “exploration of the myriad of pitfalls and obstacles that artists have been confronted with within their craft. Here are stories about dropped lines, catastrophic performances, and canceled runs... but not without learning a very valuable lesson about their art.”

I can’t recommend it more. Here’s an episode with Stage Manager Christie Quinn imparts to us a tale about a sketchy acting class and how she turned it into a win for her acting career.

Definitely give it a watch and check out the rest of the episodes on Youtube by clicking this link!
