Randy Rainbow under fire as offensive tweets resurface

Musical theater parody master and political commentator Randy Rainbow is under fire today after a series of old offensive tweets have resurfaced. The tweets consist of offensive language regarding the Black, Asian, and Trans community, among others.
A Twitter account, @spookperson found a series of tweets that Rainbow had posted nearly a decade ago and some sooner than that.
Others also found other offensive content he had posted. Here are some about the Asian community.
Here are some portraying stereotypes of black people.
As well as Hispanic people.
Not to mention jokes about domestic abuse.
And some that just seem to be offensive for the sake of being offensive.
The website LGBTQNation also collected over a dozen more. Someone else went to the trouble of collecting all the problematic tweets and put them on a spreadsheet.
Rainbow’s profile has risen meteorically over the past couple of years with his musical theatre inspired political covers that usually take aim at Donald Trump and other right-wing personalities such as the NRA. His online videos have garnered him two Emmy nominations.
Rainbow has yet to respond to the outrage yet someone working on his Twitter has been deleting the old tweets at a fervent pace.
