Want to Hear 'Hamilton' in Japanese?

In case you ever wanted to hear Hamilton in Japanese, an NYC actor has proven that it can be done.

Actor Gen Parton-Shin has worked to translate numbers from the popular musical and posted some of them on Youtube. He’s originally from Japan but now living in NYC.

“The word in Japan is that Hamilton is impossible to translate, so I set out to prove that theory wrong,” he told me. I love this show from the bottom of my heart, and I figured the easiest way would be to do it myself.”

Check out his translated version of “Helpless” and “My Shot” below!
