Universal Music Group and GLAAD teamed up to create a video featuring notable artists and talent, including Demi Lovato, Cynthia Erivo, and Busy Phillips, to name a few — who share their pronouns to spread awareness of the importance of using pronouns to create an environment of inclusivity and respect.

The new video aims to sheds light on the importance of pronouns for trans and cisgender people. Using someone's correct pronouns and addressing them in a way that's consistent and true to who they are is a form of respect. Using the correct pronouns for trans and nonbinary youth is a way to let them know that you see them, you affirm them, you accept them and to let them know that they're loved during a time when they're being targeted by discriminatory anti-trans state laws.

The full list of participating talent include: Ab Gibson, Alyssa Rose, Andrew Gelwicks, Anthony Ramos, Briana King, Busy Phillips, Cali y El Dandee, Cynthia Erivo, Dan Reynolds, DaShaun Wesley, Dave Rocco, David Yi, Demi Lovato, Elle Moxley, Fletcher, Kiana Ledé, Peach PRC, Saro, Serena Sonoma, Vincint and Wrabel.

In addition to the video, UMG and Universal Music All Together Now Foundation partnered with GLAAD, Queer Candle Co. - a Brooklyn-based, queer-owned small business - and Social Goods to create a limited-edition MUSIC IS UNIVERSAL™ Pride collection supporting GLAAD. The capsule collection includes a Pride candle ($22) and companion long-sleeve tee ($50), as well as a sticker ($5) with 25% of the proceeds benefiting GLAAD. The capsule collection is available for purchase at Social Goods.
