Video Shows Alleged Assault Following ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Tour Performance

An alleged assault reportedly took place in the audience at Denver’s Buell Theatre following a performance of the national tour of Hell’s Kitchen, according to video footage circulating on social media.
The musical played the Buell Theatre from April 14th through April 26th, according to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the official Hell’s Kitchen tour site. The incident on April 19th.
Surveillance footage originally posted to TikTok by Jason T. Brooks appears to show an altercation between two women near the front of the balcony section of the theatre after the performance. In the video, one woman can be seen repeatedly punching another woman as people nearby attempt to intervene and stop the fight.
According to comments on the TikTok video, the incident allegedly began over spilled food. That detail has not yet been independently confirmed.

The video also includes a photo that appears to show bruising on the face of the alleged victim following the incident. Comments in the video state that a police report has been filed.
Additional details about whether any arrests were made were not immediately available.
The Buell Theatre is part of the Denver Performing Arts Complex and regularly hosts touring Broadway productions. Hell’s Kitchen, the Alicia Keys musical inspired by her life and music, is currently on its national tour.
