The Book of Mormon shows the power of service, friendship, love, and believing in a higher power, by the creators of the hit-comedy show South Park.

As the Chief Los Angeles Theatre Critic, I watched over 40 theatrical productions in the greater Los Angeles area and in Las Vegas. Here is my list of the most entertaining shows in 2019.

What I enjoyed about “The Play That Goes Wrong” by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields of Mischief Theatre Company is that it’s a play within a play. We are sitting in the audience watching “The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society" perform their newest murder mystery “The Murder at Haversham Manor.”
