“The Future gives you the insight to make a decision for the greater good. Hopefully, in 2021 we will all be able to step inside The Geffen Playhouse and other theaters again until it’s safe, Guimarães gives us hope for THE FUTURE.”

Gilbert Boyce takes on the challenging role of Angus and does so with aplomb. Boyce’s depth of character is everything I look for in a character.

“The Theatre Channel” provides a welcomed addition to the pandemic-era theatre performances on ZOOM, YouTube, and a host of theatre-related streaming sites.

Resounding boasts “live immersive audio entertainment” with an uptick in audio technology. The sound was brilliantly clear and some special stereo effects were clever, but there was no distinction from any usual audio production.

“If you love solving mysteries, this show might just be your favorite show for 2020.”

But when a decent audio production like this comes around and makes for a really good story, it’s worth spending the time to enter Panych’s world.”

“Set during the unending Afghan war the listener is exposed to horrifying scenes of unspeakable atrocities. Through intimate conversations among Canadian soldiers, we learn of terrifying wounds, repugnant torture, and Sophie’s choice-like life and death decision making.”

“All in all, “A Five Mile Radius” was a play with a lot of ambitious ideas but wasn’t sure how to handle them.”

Some very clever and surprising behind the scene tricks underscored this original story which, at times, was part fantasy and part horror thanks to co-playwrights Lindy Finlan and Kim Blackwell

“When renowned puzzle master, magician, and New York Times crossword constructor David Kwong discovered his show The Enigmatist, was postponed due to the coronavirus last Spring, Kwong and the Geffen Staycation team got creative to keep stay-at-home audiences entertained.”

Even as a simple reading, Galluccio’s words and characters live – good news as we anticipate a more fulsome production in the future.

“‘The O’Leary Theory’ was an entertaining show with a great use of its medium, talented actors, and a story that, while having a few pacing problems, was still very enjoyable to watch.”
