‘Hazing U’s plot takes place inside a fraternity house of an unnamed Michigan university. As the pledging process comes to an end and the first night of Hell Week begins, the malevolent underbelly of the events of one night will forever change the lives of all those involved.

Beginning in March 2022, ‘Boom’ written, directed, and performed by Rick Miller will grace the stage at the Capitol. I had the opportunity to see this production at Montreal’s Segal Centre and what a treat it was to watch Rick on the stage. This production was scheduled as part of the 2020 season before the pandemic

Theatre by the Bay will produce a new local theatre festival in June 2022 to provide opportunities for local artists to write, direct and perform their own original plays.

Our summer company of artists feature…guest artists Amanda Jane Smith and James Dallas Smith. Amanda has previously appeared with Theatre on the Ridge in The Valley (2019) and God of Carnage (2015) and plays Maureen Poole in Cottagers and Indians. She is joined by James Dallas Smith playing Arthur Copper. In 2019, James was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore award for outstanding performance for his work in Soulpepper Theatre’s production of Almighty Voice and His Wife.

Kevin Ray Johnson's (Porgy and Bess at The Metropolitan Opera), The Unpredictable Times will be making its Regional Premiere this June at Rise Above Performing Arts Summer Professional Theatre in Sarasota, Florida.
