“This was the first time I saw Diane Paulus in person. I can still feel my seventeen-year-old self attempting to adjust my body into some professional seeming posture as the oats and mini chocolate chips trudged down my throat.”

It is my honor to introduce you to Eva Noblezada. Eva is a two-time Tony Award-Nominated Actress for her work as Kim in the revival of Miss Saigon and most recently as Eurydice in Hadestown.

It’s strange to be in New York during the time of Coronavirus and the social distancing it brings, particularly as a theatre maker. We checked in with HanJie Chow, indie theatre maven, and Broadway behind-the-scenes specialist, to see what his approach to the shutdown has been.

It is my honor to introduce you to the hardworking and talented Ben Roseberry. On Friday, March 6th after 20 years in the business, Mr. Roseberry made his Onstage Broadway debut playing the role of Ed in The Lion King at The Minskoff Theatre.

I would like you to meet the wonderful Lindsay Northen! This talented actress has been performing in Wicked on Broadway for many years and is currently performing in the Ensemble and is the Understudy for Glinda.

“I would like you to meet Rachel Stern. Rachel is performing in Girl From The North Country, which began previews on February 7th with their opening being on March 5th.”

“I would like you to meet the amazing Nasia Thomas. Nasia will be playing Radio 1 in the upcoming Broadway Revival of Caroline, or Change.”

“It is my honor to introduce you to Vishal Vaidya. Mr. Vaidya will be performing in Love Life at Encores starring Kate Baldwin and Brian Stokes Mitchell and will be directed by Victoria Clark.”

“I would like you to meet Analise Scarpaci. Currently a junior in Pace University's Musical Theatre Program, Ms. Scarpaci will be performing the role of  Lydia Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire on Broadway.”

“I would like you to meet Michele Ragusa. Michele will be performing in the upcoming Broadway production of Flying Over Sunset .”

“All in all, I would absolutely recommend Broadway Roulette. I hope to plan another trip in the fall and will definitely take advantage of another spin at the wheel!”

“It is my honor to introduce you to Andre Jordan. Andre will be making his Broadway debut is Diana: A True Musical Story as Colin and a member of the Ensemble.”

“I would like you to meet the very talented Skyler Volpe. Skyler will be making her Broadway debut in Sing Street performing the role of Anne.”

It is a true joy to introduce you to Nora Schell. Nora is currently making her Broadway debut in Jagged Little Pill (a show she previously performed in at A.R.T.) which officially opened on December 5th, 2019 at The Broadhurst Theatre. 

I would like you to meet the wonderful Samantha Pauly. Ms. Pauly will be making her Broadway debut in SIX as Katherine Howard. SIX is one of the most clever concepts that has come to Broadway in years and I can strongly say that it is a privilege to have the chance to interview Samantha.  

Collaboration is the foundation of all theater-making, but how does it work when that collaboration extends far beyond the proscenium? For lighting designer Ben Stanton and video projection designer Lucy Mackinnon, their partnership started while working together on a regional show in Washington, DC. The two have also been married for five years and are parents to two young children. While they worked separately on many projects, two both say they always work best when working together.

“I would like you to meet Aneesa Folds. Ms. Folds will be making her Broadway debut in Freestyle Love Supreme which was created by Thomas Kail, Anthony Veneziale, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.”

It is my honor to introduce you to the amazing Alysha Umphress. Anyone who has heard Alysha’s voice knows that I am not exaggerating when I say that she truly has one of the best voices in the business. Alysha will be starring as Jessie in Scotland, PA at the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Laura Pels Theatre, which begin performances on September 14th.

I would like you to meet Jacqueline B. Arnold. Jacqueline is currently playing La Chocolat in Moulin Rouge! which recently opened on July 25th on Broadway at The Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
